My father was a physician, and my mother was his office manager, so at a young age I knew it was a field that I wanted to pursue. I always enjoyed the sciences, so that also drew me in and fed my decision to go into medicine. \n In medical school, I chose urology because I thought it was unique. Urology gave me the opportunity to spend time with patients, speaking to them and working on their problems while still affording the opportunity to provide surgical services. \n I'm a general urologist. I help men, women and adolescents, but I have additional training in endourology, as well as minimally invasive surgery with robotics and laparoscopy. I offer a little bit of everything to every patient. \n I enjoy continuing to learn and giving back to the medical community by participating in research and publishing results. I have been included in more than 12 journal articles in the past several years and look forward to sharing my knowledge with my patients to help improve their everyday lives.
